About Us

Bill O'Malia has been a Faux Painter, Venetian Plasterer and a Decorative Painter for over the last 27 years and working as a Licensed Painting Contractor in the States of Nevada, California, Texas and Florida. Bill is a third generation Plasterer and Painter that started out in Boston, Mass working on cathedral churches with his father and grandfather.

I have always had the dream of working in world class destinations. I thought it was time to take my gift that I learned from my family so I moved to Vail Colorado working on Ski Resorts and Custom Homes.

2 years later, I relocated to Las Vegas and I was working on Custom homes again and eventually went to work as a Painter in the Engineering department at Palace Station and Santa Fe Station Casino.

During the 5 years I was employed by the Casino; I was asked to work at the Owners home of Station Casinos, Frank Fertitta. I decided later that it was time for a new beginning. I asked for a leave of absence explaining to them after I took my business law exam, trade exam and received my license that I wanted to try to start up my own company. They were very kind to me and said "if this is what you want to do we will stand behind you and if you feel you are not ready your job will still be here for you".

I felt very blessed, thankful and nervous at the same time going off on my own. 3 weeks later, I went back to work and gave my 2 weeks’ notice and told them that I had decided to start up my own company. They wished me good luck and threw me a going away party with the first shift maintenance staff, facility manager and the President of Santa Fe Station Casino.

During the time I was in Las Vegas, working as a Licensed Contractor, I worked on commercial properties, small homes and luxury Estates. I was very fortunate to get my name out there in Las Vegas at the time and I worked on some of the biggest casino owners’ private homes including Steve Wynn, Phil Ruffin (Owner of Trump Towers and Treasure Island), the owner of a Cirque Du Soleil and several celebrity homes that was fun to work on.

14 years later I said goodbye to the desert and Las Vegas and relocated to Southern California and moved to Laguna Beach in 2010 and also purchased a home in Houston Texas 6 years ago and I have been working between both States. In September of 2019 I expanded and opened schools in North Palm Beach, Florida.

I wanted to open a School and help other people create beautiful Finishes!
